MEETING: The next meeting will be Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road , starting at 8:30 AM with breakfast burritos and the meeting starting at 9:00 AM.
PROGRAM: Tim Tietjens, Director of the Galveston Department of Planning Services, and Dustin Henry – Coastal Resource Manager with the Department, will discuss the department and the responsibilities, which includes the following Divisions:
Building Division (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building permitting and inspections)
Coastal Resources Division
Economic Development Division
Historic Preservation Division
Planning & Development Division
We have a great meeting planned as you can see by the agenda.
NOTE: The Management of the Galveston Country Club has established new parking procedures for meetings on Saturday morning. The main front parking lot will be reserved exclusively for golfers and all other parking will be on the side next to the pool, in back next to the bay, and behind the club house where the entrance is the back door. There will be parking attendants to direct you. If it is raining, the golfers parking lot will be available.
