MINUTES: The minutes of the last WGIPOA meeting on January 17, 2015, will be on our website at www.wgipoa.com, in a few days.
MEETING: The next meeting will be on February 21, beginning at 8:30 AM for breakfast burritos and coffee and 9:00 AM for the meeting at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road.
PROGRAM: The Galveston Parks Board of Trustees will be our program with the Chairman, Melvin Williams, Executive Director, Kelly de Shaun, and Deputy Director, Mario Rabago, to discuss all the current and future projects. Of particular interest to the west end will be the future sand nourishment projects in front of the Seawall and the current one from the end of the Seawall to Dellanera Park.
This is an exciting time for the Parks Board and definitely an information gathering and a must attend meeting.

Sea Turtles: The HEART (Help Endangered Animals – Ridley Turtles) organization needs your help to protect the endangered Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle. Visit the website: http://www.ridleyturtles.org/.
