MINUTES:  The minutes of the April 18 meeting will be on our website in a few days.

MEETING:  The next meeting will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015, beginning at 8:30 AM for breakfast burritos and coffee and 9:00 AM for the meeting at the the Courtyard by Marriott located at 9550 Seawall Blvd. 

PROGRAM: We are delighted to have Andrea Madison, Director of Planning for Silverleaf Resorts for the past 8 years, present all about the Silverleaf Resorts.  Prior to Silverleaf, if you remember, Andrea was the Economic Development Planner with the City of Galveston for 5 years.

If you are curious about the new building being constructed on the Silverleaf beach property off FM 3005, come hear the details from Andrea. Silverleaf Resorts is a privately owned company that operates 13 vacation resorts in seven U.S. states. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company is operated by Cerberus Capital Management and employs over 3,000 people.
