WGIPOA Meeting 4/18/15

MINUTES:  The minutes of the last WGIPOA meeting on March 21, 2015, will be on our website in a few days.

MEETING:  The next meeting will be on April 18, beginning at 8:30 AM for breakfast burritos and coffee and 9:00 AM for the meeting at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 9550 Seawall Blvd.

PROGRAM:  Property tax notifications are or are in the process of being sent out and with the improvement in the market, I am certain they will be higher than last year’s assessment.  We are pleased again to have Cheryl Johnson, Galveston County Tax Assessor/Collector to be our guest speaker and have her great class, “How to Protest Your Property Taxes”.  In addition, Cheryl will talk about the Bills she is working on and supporting in the current Texas legislative session.
