MEETING: The next meeting for the West Galveston Island Property Owners Association will be on February 16, 2013 beginning at 8:30 AM for breakfast burritos and coffee and 9:00 AM for the meeting at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road.
Please note we are back at the Galveston Country Club for this meeting.
PROGRAM: The West Galveston Island Property Owners Association is pleased to have as our guest speaker, Colonel Col. Christopher Sallese, Commander, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, of the Galveston District. The District encompasses the Texas Coast from Louisiana to Mexico an area that spans across 50,000 square miles, with 700 miles of coastline and 28 ports. The Colonel will discuss the Texas ports and also show the Gold Award video for the “Dig This: 2012 Dredging Along the Texas Coast”
The February 16 meeting will also be our annual meeting where members elect board members and officers for the coming fiscal year, March 1, 2013, to February 28, 2014. The upcoming year will be our 14th year as an organization.
